Scan your life. In which areas do you dabble and in which areas do you pursue a clearly set goal?

„A man who moves a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.“

Confucius

What is your mountain and what do you want to change in the world?

Research has found that having clarity about your goals is essential to having motivation to achieve those goals. If you‘re not clear on what you‘re doing, it‘s hard to be motivated.

Having goal clarity is quintessential to motivation.

... and while other people are staring at the forest from a distance. losing themselves in contemplations about what they might be doing next, you‘re winding your way through the trees, you are on your way. You know where you wnant to go. And soon enough, you‘ll be on the other side, away from the crowd...

What you learn should clearly connect with your interests and goals.

„That is the way to learn the most, that when you are doing something with such enjoyment that you don‘t notice that the time passes.“

Albert Einstein

What do you do with such enjoyment and pleasure that you don't even notice how fast time flies? What do you try your hand at and what do you pursue with highest interest and motivation?

„If you want lasting change, you‘ve got to give up this idea of simply ‚trying something‘. You‘ve got to decide you‘re going to commit to mastery. Most people dabble. They say, ‚I‘d like to change my body‘, or ‚I‘d like to make my relationship better‘. These people don‘t have enough detail to follow-through.“

Tony Robbins

"I would like", "I'll try to..." is nothing but "not really doing" or "not succeeding". In how many areas of your life are you still trying to accomplish things, which you never will....

Learning is a permanent change in cognition and/or behavior. In other words, true learning involves a permanent change in how you see and act in the world.

The accummulation of information isn‘t learning.

If you want to learn something quickly, you need to immerse yourself in that thing and immediately implement what you‘ve learned.

You need enough clarity to have high motivation to move forward. The more clarity you have of the path set before you, the higher will be your motivation to go down that path.

Stop waiting. Start acting. Life is long only for those who believe they have enough time.

„Of all the words of mice and men, the saddest are, „It might have been“.

Kurt Vonnegut
